Kay Yōko is a Swisssinger, songwriter, producer and performer of Japanese and Norwegian heritage. Basedin Geneva, she crafts a distinctive musical world at the crossroads of rap,R&B, bedroom pop and minimalist electronic music.
Kay Yōko writes,composes, produces and mixes every one of her tracks herself. Her approach isrooted in economy of means: stripped-back productions, organic textures, avoice moving effortlessly between French and English, and a precise,unembellished form of songwriting in which every element is carefully placed tolet emotion breathe. In 2026, she was among the projects recognised at theDemoTape Clinic of the m4music festival.
Shaped by hermultiple cultural heritages, Kay Yōko creates music where time seems to standstill. The subtlest emotions, everyday gestures and places of refuge become theraw material for contemplative songs, guided by a constant pursuit of softness,precision and sincerity.
