OPENER:
The Raoul Gavairon Trio retraces the three years drummer Raoul Gavairon spent at the ZHdK—reflecting on the encounters, the time spent composing, and simply playing music with friends. To bring this vision to life, he has enlisted two of his former teachers who have since become fellow musical travelers for this brand-new, one-off project.
The program features a mix of original avant-garde compositions and jazz standards.
