Prof. DJ Don Philippo (Mute)
Don Philippo is a DJ and former promoter and radio host based in Zurich who has played a major role in the Swiss Drum and Bass scene for more than ten years. Back in 1998 he started discovering his love for broken beats as a listener solely and less than three years later he joined the successful network as promoter, content manager, forum admin and interviewer.

In 2004 he established the party series “DEZIBEL” in Lucerne. What started off to be a low budget event with local and national DJs, ended up featuring such big names as Chase & Status, Sub Focus, Calyx & TeeBee, Logistics and Commix. The success story in Lucerne came to and end 2009 when Don Philippo decided to move to Zurich to take on a new challenge.
His hunger for Drum and Bass was not wiped out and so he joined at the beginning of 2010, one of Switzerland’s most prestigious and longest running labels. He used to run five regular nights per year at the renowned Hive Club. Artists that have played since his arrival are Nu:Logic, S.P.Y, Total Science, Lenzman, Calibre, Alix Perez, BTK or Enei to only name a few.
Next to his function as party promoter Don Philippo also gained a great reputation as DJ. He first touched turntables in 2004 in the living room of his neighbour, successful DJ and producer Dayni from Lucerne. The passion for Drum and Bass music never left and he thus spent more and more time in the studio. The rest is history with Don Philippo having played miscellaneous big and small clubs in Switzerland and even abroad. His sets are always floor orientated but never lack a certain amount of diversity. Come and see Don Philippo live: You can expect an explosive mixture of liquid, deep and rolling Drum and Bass.
Should Don Philippo for a change not be in the studio or out making people dance, then you can catch him every first Monday of the month as special guest host on Swiss national radio “DRS Virus”.

Prof. DJ Keen Demand (Demand Records)
“Over the last three years, DJ and head of Demand Records “Keen” has established one of the most exciting labels for upcoming talents within the world of drum and bass.

Based in Zurich, Demand Records is one of a few active drum and bass record labels in Switzerland. Working with artists like Lenzman, Optiv & BTK, Spectrasoul he has also enabled new artists such as Eastcolors, Heavy1, Mortem and LSB to emerge and raise their profile. Within the Swiss scene, Keen promoted his own nights and partnered with various drum and bass projects around Zurich such as MUTE or as part of Divercity.

The passion for music started in the mid 2000’s when “Keen Demand” were 3 guys that just had fun together while trying their hands on beat matching. Since then he’s active and the music is his driving force and you can see this in his label as much as when he’s behind the decks.”
